Let me tell you something—standing on that stage at the Black Wealth Summit 2025 was a full-circle moment for me.
I’ve been talking about AI for years now. Teaching it, building with it, helping people use it to change their lives. But this time? It hit different.
Because the room was us. It was filled with creators, founders, leaders, and visionaries who look like me and you—ready to learn, ready to move, and ready to take what’s ours in this next era of wealth.
And that’s exactly why I came with one message:
Don’t. Sleep. On. AI.
Not now. Not when the biggest wealth shift we’ve ever seen is happening right under our noses. And certainly not when the tools are finally in our hands.
AI is flipping the script. It’s disrupting business, investing, content creation, education, communication—all of it. And here’s the thing: the people who move early build the advantage. The people who wait? They get left behind.
So I had to ask the room—and I’m asking you, too:
Which one are you going to be?
When I say the energy was electric, I mean it.
We filled up the Lou Rawls Center for the Performing Arts at Florida Memorial University, and from the moment I walked in, I knew this wasn’t just another conference. It was a movement.
Big shoutout to The Source, founded by Ted Lucas and Hilmon Sorey, for creating the space for us to have real, transformative conversations. They didn’t just invite speakers—they curated a lineup of voices who are out here doing the work. I was honored to share the stage with giants like Cedric Nash, Michelle Lilly, Brendan Boyd, and Brian Brackeen.
And y’all—the audience came READY. People weren’t just taking notes. They were soaking up strategies, shifting their mindset, and getting in position. Because we all know… access without action doesn’t build wealth.
Now, when I talk about AI, I’m not talking about some future thing that might matter “someday.” I’m talking about a right now thing. A “this-can-grow-your-business-today” kind of thing.
But what hit me most was how many people still think AI is just about automating emails or crunching numbers. Sure, it does that—but that’s surface level.
What AI is really doing?
It’s amplifying your voice.
Scaling your presence.
Helping you be in more places, serve more people, and grow without burning out.
And that’s exactly why I shared HeyGen.
Let me tell you a quick story.
I remember one week where I had five speaking opportunities, a launch happening, and clients to serve. And I thought, “If I could just clone myself…” That’s when I found HeyGen.
This tool lets you create a hyper-realistic AI avatar that looks and sounds like you—so you can keep showing up, even when you physically can’t.
Imagine this:
It’s not just about saving time. It’s about owning your voice and multiplying your impact.
And when I demo’d this on stage? I saw jaws drop. Light bulbs were going off. One sister came up to me and said, “Alicia, I feel like this just changed everything for me.” And she was right. Because it can.
You don’t need to be on camera every day or need a production team. You just need to start using the tools that are already here.
Let’s be honest—this isn’t just about making money.
This is about owning your narrative.
Getting your ideas out into the world.
Making sure our communities don’t get left behind in the biggest shift of our lifetime.
AI is letting us do what used to take teams of people and thousands of dollars—with a free afternoon and a little curiosity.
We are no longer waiting for a seat at the table. We’re building our own table, automating it, and scaling the guest list with AI.
If you’ve been thinking, “I’ll look into this later,” let me lovingly say: later is too late.
The people I met at the summit didn’t leave just inspired. They left in motion, had plans, strategies, and a next step.
So what’s yours?
If you’re a creator, a coach, a business owner—this is your chance to stop trading time for money and start using tools that work while you rest.
Start simple. Start today. Just start.
To the entire Black Wealth Summit family—thank you for holding space for this moment.
Thank you for creating a stage where we can talk about innovation, wealth, legacy, and tech—all in the same breath. These conversations are how we move from potential to power.
To every attendee who came ready to learn and grow—you’re why I do this work.
Don’t worry if you couldn’t be there in person. You’re still in the game.
AI is here. The shift is already in motion. And if you’re ready to build, scale, and show up in a whole new way? Your time is now.
Let’s move.
