It's like a superstar that can do all kinds of things, and I'm seriously impressed. It's not just about giving answers; it can write emails, create awesome social media content, come up with scripts, brainstorm marketing ideas, and a bunch more amazing stuff.

But here's the deal: because it's not a real human, it has its limits. One of those limits is that sometimes it sounds a bit plain and kind of like what you'd read in textbooks. If you're nodding and thinking, “Yeah, it does sound kind of plain and generic,” and you want to make ChatGPT sound more like you, guess what? I'm here to help you out. I'm going to walk you through the easy steps to train ChatGPT to talk just like you do.

Steps To Train ChatGPT To Write In Your Style

Alright, get ready to see how you can train ChatGPT to talk just like you in no time! We're going to mix your unique style with ChatGPT's magic to make every sentence sound like it's totally you. Ready to dive in? Let's go!

Step 1: Starting the Journey

Start by opening a new session and give ChatGPT its first prompt: “I would like you to write something for me. I will give you my bio and 2 transcripts of training that I have done so that you can understand who I am and my writing, teaching style and tone. Do not write anything until I have given you everything. Do you understand?”

Step 2:Sharing Your Story

Now it's time to share your bio. By doing this, ChatGPT will get to know you better and give responses that match your style. In this example, I'll use my bio.

Step 3: Giving Training Materials

After ChatGPT gets your bio, give it two training materials. This helps ChatGPT learn how you talk, your tone, and your writing style. If you're a writer, you can use your articles or blogs. But if you're a speaker like me, give ChatGPT your training videos' transcriptions. This lets ChatGPT pick up on your style.

Step 4: Describing Your Style 

It's time to ask ChatGPT to describe your style. Once ChatGPT has your bio and training materials, ask it to explain your style. You can use this prompt: “How would you describe my teaching and writing style and tone? Sassy? Fun? How would you describe my content style to someone who wanted to write exactly like me? What phrases do I often use? Etc.”

Step 5: Writing in Your Voice 

Now, ask ChatGPT to write like you. You can use this prompt: “Everything you write from here on out will be in my style and tone. You will be writing for me as me. Do you understand?”

And there you have it. Following these steps, ChatGPT will capture your style and write in your own unique voice. Exciting, right?
