That’s exactly what happened on December 3, 2024, when I led a hands-on AI workshop at William Paterson University’s Cotsakos College of Business. It wasn’t just another tech seminar. Students, faculty, and small business owners didn’t just learn about AI—they experienced how it could reshape their work in real time.
Over three days, this summit wasn’t just about learning—it was about imagining the possibilities of AI and how it can fit into your world. With over 30 expert sessions covering everything from business growth to creative breakthroughs, the summit was packed with strategies to help you think bigger and achieve more.
Let me take you through a day of discovery, growth, and unforgettable moments with these young men. Founded by Dr. Gorman Brown and Coach Bleu Colquitt, Manhood 101 is an incredible program for young Black men that’s all about building confidence, character, and practical life skills. Bringing AI into the mix was an exciting challenge, but what made it truly special was the energy and openness of everyone in the room.
The event was hosted by Women In Technology (WIT) and Cisco, and let me tell you, it was all about giving these young women a taste of what their futures could look like in tech. I gotta say, the WIT & Cisco STEAM Summit had this special vibe that just clicked with everyone there.
I’m excited to share some exciting news with you! Our team at AI Innovision is gearing up to work with the Black Rhinos Mentoring Program, and I can’t wait to get started. This initiative is all about helping 6th to 12th graders dive into the world of artificial intelligence (AI), giving them skills that will truly set them apart in the future job market.
