Have you ever felt like all the late nights, bold ideas, and hard work are finally paying off? That’s how I felt when I found out I’m a finalist for the Innovation Disrupter Award at the 2024 ATP Gala Awards! It’s a moment that makes you stop, reflect, and think about the journey that brought you here.
You know that feeling when something amazing happens, and you must take a moment to let it sink in? That was me when I found out I’d won a Bronze Stevie® Award for Mentor or Coach of the Year – Business at the 21st Annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business.
Over three days, this summit wasn’t just about learning—it was about imagining the possibilities of AI and how it can fit into your world. With over 30 expert sessions covering everything from business growth to creative breakthroughs, the summit was packed with strategies to help you think bigger and achieve more.
The ITSMF S2-S4 Symposium in St. Louis was amazing! Hosted by the Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF), this gathering brought together some of the sharpest minds in tech to talk about innovation, leadership, and inclusion in ways that felt personal, practical, and completely inspiring.
Let me take you through a day of discovery, growth, and unforgettable moments with these young men. Founded by Dr. Gorman Brown and Coach Bleu Colquitt, Manhood 101 is an incredible program for young Black men that’s all about building confidence, character, and practical life skills. Bringing AI into the mix was an exciting challenge, but what made it truly special was the energy and openness of everyone in the room.
At the summit, I emphasized how AI can level the playing field for small business owners, particularly in areas that have traditionally encountered challenges to economic development. With the right tools, even solopreneurs can compete with larger companies by offering faster service, smarter marketing, and more personalized customer experiences.
Hosting wasn’t just about introducing speakers or keeping things on schedule—it was about creating a space where leaders from healthcare and AI could come together, share real-world experiences, and genuinely connect over solutions that work.

This event was all about empowering women in construction and engineering and, more importantly, about how we’re shaping the future of AI. And let me tell you—this isn’t about a future far away. Women are making waves in AI right now, and the pace of change is incredible. The next 30 days could bring breakthroughs that might just change everything.
The event was hosted by Women In Technology (WIT) and Cisco, and let me tell you, it was all about giving these young women a taste of what their futures could look like in tech. I gotta say, the WIT & Cisco STEAM Summit had this special vibe that just clicked with everyone there.
